Sometimes in the midst of anger and frustration (in my case I installed an app the wasn’t compatible with my N97, ignoring the warning), your mind just suddenly blocked and all rationales go through the window. It happened to me, I went into every menu item (that I thought the most sensible place) for a few minutes trying to find where the bloody ‘application manager’, and I just couldn’t find it! A geek, like me, couldn’t find a simple menu item?! That’s just plain embarrassing! But since I really need to get rid off this app, I gave up and did the next logical thing, to look for it in Google :)
What do you know, the solution is the first item of the search result! Thanks Google!
So, if you ended up here trying to find the same thing as I did, the right path for the Application Manager is:
Settings -> Application mgr.
There you go!

menu > parametres > applications manager > apps instalé > & shoose one & delete it
